Kind Words

Katherine is amazing! Not only did she make me feel like the most beautiful version of myself, she gave me exactly what I showed her in my combination of inspiration photos (no easy feat!). She is so lovely and I would recommend her to anyone for any big occasion - I feel so lucky to have found her for my wedding day.

Katherine was absolutely fantastic. In addition to the amazing hair, she is exactly the type of person and vibe you want at your wedding. The trial was so great I immediately asked if there was availability for the rehearsal dinner and luckily there was. Everyone in the wedding party looked amazing, all the credit to her!

FAQ

+ Do you recommend a trial?

100% yes! The trial allows us to get to know each other, as well as work out any kinks before we get to your wedding date. It gives me an opportunity to learn about your hair, and you an opportunity to see your vision come to life and decide if you want to make any edits. The trial is an important step in preparing for your wedding.

+ When should my trial take place?

I recommend having your trial within a few months of your wedding. You want your hair to be close to how it will be day-of (length, color, etc). By the time we meet for the trial, it is ideal to already have your dress, veil, or other hair accessories picked out. This all helps in selecting the perfect hairstyle to pull the look together.

+ How should my bridesmaids and I have our hair when you arrive on the wedding day?

CLEAN AND DRY. Having the hair blown out as smooth as possible (for those who don’t want to be styled in their natural texture) is helpful, too.

+ I’m having a hard time choosing a hairstyle, can you help me?

Absolutely! This is another great reason for a trial. Once I see your hair in person, I can help guide you towards a style that will work well for your hair and your personality.

+ I would like to use clip in hair extensions. Can you put them in for me?

Yep! It is all part of the styling process, and I love to do it. I recommend extensions to add length and volume to your hair. Extensions can really take your bridal hairstyle to the next level.

+ How long does each service take?

This can vary depending on the hair type and desired style. Generally, wedding party hair will take 30-45 minutes per person. I usually set aside an hour for the bride’s hair.

+ How do I know what our start time should be?

The start time is based on the finish time. You will want to discuss your timeline with your wedding planner and photographer. They will know what time you should be stepping into your dress (which usually marks the finish time), and then I work backwards from there to establish the start time.

+ Can you help place my veil?

YES PLEASE!! I absolutely love it when I get the opportunity to place the bride’s veil. It is such a special moment!

+ What type of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, Zelle, or Venmo are preferred.
